Lovely stay for a few days. The condo was placed between the north and south shore, making it easy to do day trips to either. It’s very cute inside and parking and market access were convenient. Pool and tiki bar could get a little crowded, so I didn’t spend much time there. Please bear in mind the AC does not go below 72, so sleeping can be a bit difficult though the bed is comfortable.

Awesome place! Very convenient location, nicely appointed and decorated space. It is a relatively small apartment, great for 2 people, which we were, but I think it would feel crowded with 4. Nice to be able to walk to the edge of the lawn and see the water, but it is a hike down to the beach. Mini split AC was the best we had in 3 weeks in Hawaii.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! Beautiful decor, comfy beds, and very clean! We are also very particular about our linens, and the sheets and towels were top notch quality. The location is perfect - there’s a trail behind the property on the water that goes north for about 5 miles and winds into downtown Kapa’a which we loved walking on the morning. Wish we would’ve rented bikes! Just a quick note on the beaches - if you want to go to the popular swimming beaches on the north or south side of the island it’s a minimum 30-40 min drive, which we did every day. The beach that’s directly next to the property isn’t really a swimming beach - it has aggressive waves, a short beach, and lots of wood debris that washes up on shore. I’m sure people relax there, but not your typical white sand, blue water beach you think of when you picture Hawaii. Will definitely stay here again if we come back! Mahalo!!

We had a great stay at Hallie’s place! The space was clean and modern, and has a lovely view of the ocean. All the communication we received was helpful, and we really appreciated the local guide they provided with recommendations for nearby restaurants & beaches. The place is walkable to a coffee place super close by, along with restaurants and shops. And it was a perfectly central location to drive over to the north and south shores. They provide beach chairs and a cooler, which made it easy to go out for a few beach days. We'd highly recommend staying here, and we look forward to staying again the next time we visit Kauai!

Selected this location for a few specific reasons, including to be a bit removed from crowds, easy access to ocean views and birding opportunities, and for the AC. Had some initial issues with one of the AC units at first but had it working a couple hours later and it worked fine for our 5 night stay after (Hallie was very quick in responding about that as others have noted). Very mellow location. Could hear folks upstairs easily through the ceiling but it was never an issue for us, and the early morning rooster crowing was not bad at all compared to how it can be elsewhere on Kauai. The sea views were stunning! For birders interested in seabirds this is a great location, you can see a great deal offshore with a scope in the evenings. We also made use of the beach gear available, came in very handy. Overall worked out great for our family of 3.

You won’t find any other unit like this on the property! It is by far the most well curated unit I saw there. The decor was amazing, the in-unit amenities were well thought out and graciously provided, and the location was so close to shops, restaurants and some nice beaches. Hallie was a very responsive host. We loved sleeping with the sliders open and listening to the sounds of the ocean at nighttime. This home delivers everything and more than promised. Would definitely stay again.

One of our favorite parts was having the pool and hot tub right there, it made relaxing so easy and we barely needed to leave. We had a great time at our short stay at the Islander on the Beach. Hallie’s condo was really charming, and we loved the small details and personal touches. The King bed was super comfy and everything was spotless. In hindsight we only wish we had booked a few more nights here to enjoy the space and explore Kapa’a. The view from the Lanai was even better in person and we loved sitting out at night overlooking the glowing pool, and flickering tiki lamps, while listening to the ocean. We enjoyed a farmers market at the coconut marketplace and there were a lot of food options within walking distance. My wife particularly loved the gluten free banana bread at the coffee shop directly next door. Communication and the room were amazing, and we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay here.

This was our fourth time to Kauai and we were so excited to see Hallie’s condo come available at Islander on the Beach. Communication was great, the unit was very nicely updated and clean, and we really enjoyed the boho vibe and wall art. We really enjoyed the amazing ocean views from our lanai and found ourselves hardly driving or cooking as we walked to Lava Lava for dinner and had lunch and treats several times at the marketplace right across the road. We wanted to make it to the North shore too, and staying in Kapaa worked great for getting to both ends of the island. I think we’ve found our new go to spot, and hopefully will be returning soon. Highly recommend this condo and host!!

Loved this place. We really did not want to leave! The home looks just like the photos, no saturation or special effects. There is a fantastic view of the ocean from this unit, with a lookout point being just a few steps away. The home itself is designed really tastefully. It’s cozy but open and breathable. Tons of useful amenities too. Hallie was very responsive and the instructions were perfectly clear— she also provided a lot of good recommendations of nearby attractions, whether it be food or beaches. The neighborhood is walkable, I took several walks down to the park nearby. There’s also a little trail down to a secluded beach you can walk to from the unit— it takes maybe 10 min. Overall extremely happy we were able to stay at such a lovely place.

Place is nice, I was thankful for a washer and drier however I’m not sure if someone has previously bleached something in there but a lot of our clothes happened to get bleached somehow. So maybe a rinse before using? The shower lever is reversed so hot is cold lol also we lost power for alittle which I think is common in that area, not necessarily related to the unit itself or anything! Otherwise the place was comfortable and air conditioning works almost too well haha. Cool chickens and roosters outside. Pretty view of the water!

Wow! Absolute paradise! Our stay in Princeville was nothing short of magical, and Seaside Haven was a huge part of that! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed—from beach chairs and towels to a well-stocked kitchen. We woke up every morning to listen to the sound of birds, enjoy the ocean views from the lanai, and the sunsets were breathtaking. The location was perfect—close to beaches, hiking trails, and a short drive for groceries and restaurants, but still peaceful and private. Hallie was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. We felt truly cared for throughout our stay. We didn’t want to leave and are already dreaming about coming back. If you aren’t sure about staying here…just do it! You won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful vacation at the Sea Lodge. Boring but important stuff first: the space was clean and free of clutter, the area was safe (both Princeville more broadly and the apartment units themselves), and the parking arrangement was easy. The secluded private beach was one our favorite spots due to the clear waters that were ideal for snorkeling. The bnb itself is walking distance from the 1 Hotel which we spent most mornings walking to as the route follows a pristine golf course and the views of the mountains are unbeatable. Additionally, Hanalei is a short drive away so we frequented that area for sunsets and day drives. We sorely miss our time here and can’t wait to return for another week of bliss in Kauai. We had a great stay!! Seaside Haven was the perfect location for us to explore the north side of the island. It was VERY clean and had everything we needed. Parking was easy. We felt safe. Hallie was very friendly and responsive. AC was amazing!!! The two units kept the entire home very cool. We loved having our own private SeaLodge Beach too! The walk down was a fun adventure (maybe 10 minutes) and it wasn’t too hard for our 5 year old. It was a secluded, calm beach for the kids to snorkel. We would definitely book with Hallie again.

The beach gear she has provided along with her quick responses have also elevated the experience. You will truly feel right at home and appreciate the handmade artwork on her walls. Kitchen is completely stocked with kitchenware and the in unit washer/dryer was so great. Walk directly from the patio to the cliff overseeing the ocean or take a walk around the golf course that you can observe peaks or Rainbow Eucalyptus trees. Truly amazing, such a vibe!

The newly renovated unit was very nice, it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing. The unit sits up on the cliffs, perfect for morning sunrises and whale watching, and has access to a hidden beach where we saw a sea turtle basking in the sun. Overall, we had a fantastic time.

Beach chairs, ice chest along with some nice kitchen amenities. Hallie, our host, was quick to respond no matter the time of day. The north shore of Kauai is one of our favorite places on earth and this was a perfect home base for exploring. It was our first time staying in princeville vs hanalei or Hae’na and we loved splitting the distance between Kilauea beaches and hanalei. The condo itself was wonderful with incredible views and we loved the simple furnishings and extra touches Hallie clearly put in. It was so nice to have a fully applianced kitchen and especially nice to have great beach gear available for our use! The beach towels were awesome. Spectacular and stellar stay! We have stayed at numerous airbnbs and this was hands-down one of the finest. Hallie was the ultimate host; responsive, courteous, proactive, and accommodating. Condo was incredibly well-appointed with high-end amenities, and often brand new appliances. The ambiance and beauty of the condo was incredibly welcoming and we felt pampered beyond belief. Bed was probably the most comfortable bed we've ever had. Plenty of hot water with good pressure. Kitchen was well-equipped and had everything a guest might need and more. Location was fabulous and only a few minutes' drive to Princeville Shopping Center, Hanalei Beach, and other points of interest. Opening the windows and using the fans were more than adequate and preferable. We would definitely recommend this condo to others and would stay here again!

We are your hosts, Hallie and Justin. We have two young kids and love traveling with them, and building a family-first focused business.

 

After owning a long-term rental portfolio for years, we decided the short term rental and hospitality industry was a better fit for our family and lifestyle. We love creating amazing spaces and providing customer service to ensure each trip booked with us goes as easy and enjoyable as possible. We purchased our first short term rental in Kauai, our favorite place on earth, and hope to expand on this island as well as many other amazing destinations.
